Hi everyone, here is some of the the work I have been making and kind of a preview of the kind of work I will be making for the shows I have planned for the summer. I also want everyone to know that am currently taking CHRISTMAS orders. I don't know if I will be able to blow any glass for a while after the move so NOW IS THE TIME TO ORDER YOUR CHRISTMAS GLASS.

moving?

I always do this to myself, I wait so long to blog that I have months to cover at a time. Since my last blog was a flyer for my show, I want to thank everyone for all the support and positive feed back. I can't even start to express the gratitude i feel, but it keeps me going and inspired to know that the people closest to me are also my biggest fans. thank you.

I'm sure that most of have heard that Katie got into Vanderbilt's school of nursing for nurse midwifery, and yes That's right Vanderbilt is in Nashville. We have been doing a lot of research on Nashville, cost of living, what could I do, jobs, school, school costs, moving cost, were to live, there is so much that goes into a huge dissension like a cross country move and going into such a huge debt for school. I have packed up and taken a long move before but this time it is going to require a lot more then just throwing all my junk in the back of my truck. Not only did Katie get into Vanderbilt but I fund out that Tennessee Tech has a bachelors of fine arts in glass blowing at the Appalachian Center for Craft which is an hour out side of Nashville. If I were to finish my community collage in Nashville then transfer to the craft center I would be finishing my BFA about the same time Katie will be finishing Her Masters, and would both be done with school in about three and a half years. I don't know it just seems like such an opportunity to be done with school at the same time. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

Also I can't forget CONGRATULATIONS on all the babies.

This is a picture from mine and katie's trip to Newport back in January.

Yes I know I have been really lazy about writing inn the blog but I have incredibly busy with work and blowing glass. Most of you know already but just in case you don't, I am going to be in AZ for Christmas. I you how excite you all must be! Coming along with me is some 20 odd peaces of glass and will be having a show on the 22nd with more details coming soon. This is going to be my very first art show and I can't even say how excited I am for everyone to see my work. I just finished blowing all work I am taking to AZ with me so all I have left to do is all the cold working and shipping. Sadly Katie can't come with me due to work conflicts which means that we don't get to spend Christmas together. We didn't get to spend Thanksgiving together either because Katie was in Florida and I was working. Here are a few examples of my work. feed back is nice and monique I have you for Christmas so...

Here is A video of Joe and I blowing a "roll up" for a lady that took a class at Uroboros in June. Last weekend she brought up ten pieces for Joe and I to do the hot work on, we did such a good job that they are planning two more trips up here with twice the work each time.
