The biggest problem with this fatal bike crash is that I (CHRIS BOGLE) was right there just half hour before that happened, and I will ride past the ghost bike tomorrow on my way to work. I hope I don't get hit.

I'm so sad this happened again. Love the separate bike lane idea!
I am all for separate bike lanes. They had them in Slovenia when I was there and I never felt in danger when I rode one. That was the last 4 months of my mission. Given it is a much smaller city than Portland, but still.
Be careful riding around Chris! I love that you do it, but be careful and just as aware of the cars as you hope they are of you.
